Terms of Use.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FindBeam (findbeam.com), operated by Rubaiyat Islam Rafat ("FindBeam," "we," "us"). By using FindBeam you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, discontinue use immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing findbeam.com you confirm you are at least 13 years old (16 in most EU jurisdictions per GDPR Art. 8), have read these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and agree to be bound by them. If you access FindBeam on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. Service Description

FindBeam provides free, browser-based online tools across categories: developer utilities (CSS/JS/HTML minifiers, JSON formatter, Base64, Regex, Diff); security (password generator, SHA-256, MD5); health (BMI, calorie, TDEE); network (IP lookup, speed test, DNS); text (word counter, case converter, lorem ipsum); finance (percentage, currency, compound interest); and utilities (QR generator, unit converter, age calculator). The tool library continuously expands.

3. Free Access & Availability

FindBeam tools are completely free with no registration required. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects access. Core tool functionality will remain free even if we introduce optional advertising or premium features. Material changes to access will be communicated ≥30 days in advance.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You may use FindBeam for: personal, educational, freelance, or professional work; processing your own code/data through client-side tools; manual access via standard web browsers at human browsing speed; sharing tool URLs in documentation, tutorials, or communities; linking to FindBeam from websites or applications.

5. Prohibited Activities

A. Automated Access & Scraping

• Robots, spiders, headless browsers, or automated access at rates exceeding human browsing
• Bypassing or reverse-engineering security features, rate limits, Cloudflare bot detection, or robots.txt
• Building competing services or wrappers by reverse-engineering our tool logic or API calls
• Bulk caching, mirroring, or redistributing FindBeam pages or content

B. Infrastructure Abuse

• DoS/DDoS attacks or actions placing unreasonable load on our infrastructure
• Attempts to gain unauthorised access to our hosting, Cloudflare Workers, or DNS configuration
• Injecting malicious code, malware, or exploits into tool input fields
• Security scanning or penetration testing without written permission

C. Harmful or Illegal Use

• Using tools to generate, process, or distribute illegal content, hate speech, or content violating third-party rights
• Any activity illegal under applicable laws in Bangladesh or your jurisdiction
• Misrepresenting identity or purpose in contact forms or communications

D. Commercial Misuse

• Rebranding or reselling FindBeam tools as your own without written agreement
• Using FindBeam as an unacknowledged backend for commercial products without written permission

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The FindBeam name, logo, "No Rounded Corners" design system, visual identity, tool architecture, and all original content are the exclusive property of Rubaiyat Islam Rafat. All rights reserved.

You may not: copy or imitate the FindBeam visual identity; use the FindBeam name implying endorsement without permission; republish substantial portions of our content; register domain names or trademarks incorporating "FindBeam."

You may: link to FindBeam tools; reference FindBeam in educational/comparative contexts with attribution; screenshot tool results for non-commercial informational purposes; quote ≤50 words with attribution and source link.

7. Your Content & Data

You retain full ownership of all code, text, data, or files you input into FindBeam tools. FindBeam claims no rights over your input or output. For client-side tools: no licence is granted to FindBeam because your data never reaches our servers. For server-interaction tools (IP Lookup): you grant FindBeam a transient, non-exclusive licence to process the minimum data needed to return your result. This licence expires immediately upon delivery. No data is retained.

8. Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure

Current status: FindBeam does not serve advertising. Zero ad cookies active. Future Google AdSense advertising will require a TCF 2.2-compliant CMP before activation, and personalised ads will only load after explicit consent. Tool functionality will never be gated behind ad consent.

FindBeam may contain clearly labelled affiliate links to third-party products. Purchasing via an affiliate link may earn FindBeam a commission at no cost to you. Full details in our Disclosure Policy. Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial recommendations.

9. Third-Party Services & Links

FindBeam relies on Cloudflare (CDN, hosting, Workers), Umami (analytics), and ip2location.io (IP geolocation). We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or privacy practices. External links on FindBeam are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement.

10. Disclaimers & Warranties

FindBeam is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for purpose, accuracy of tool outputs, or uninterrupted availability. Always backup files before using minifier or formatter tools. FindBeam is not responsible for data loss or code corruption from tool use.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FindBeam and its operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including loss of data, profits, revenue, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed USD $100. Some jurisdictions limit liability exclusions — in those cases, liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify FindBeam and its operator against claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and legal fees arising from: violation of these Terms; violation of applicable law; infringement of third-party rights; or harmful content submitted to FindBeam.

13. Termination & Access Restriction

We may restrict or block access at any time for Terms violations, implemented via Cloudflare infrastructure. Appeal by emailing [email protected] with your IP and explanation — we respond within 7 business days.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Nothing prevents either party seeking urgent injunctive relief to protect intellectual property. EU users retain statutory consumer protection rights under applicable EU law.

15. Changes to These Terms

Material changes will be announced on the homepage for ≥30 days. The "Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. Previous versions available at [email protected].
