Disclosure Policy.

FindBeam is committed to full transparency about how we earn revenue and how our content is produced. This Disclosure Policy is required by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), and equivalent consumer protection regulations in other jurisdictions. It is also required by Google AdSense policies.

1. Why This Policy Exists

Financial relationships between publishers and advertisers or affiliate programmes can influence content. We believe you have the right to know when such relationships exist so you can make informed judgements. Our goal is to be the most transparent free tools platform on the internet.

2. Affiliate Links

FindBeam pages may contain affiliate links to third-party products and services. What this means:

• If you click an affiliate link and subsequently make a purchase, FindBeam may receive a commission from the merchant
• This commission is paid by the merchant — it does not increase the price you pay
• We earn commissions only when a sale is completed — clicking alone earns nothing
• Affiliate relationships never determine whether we recommend a product. We only feature products we believe are genuinely useful

• NordVPN / Surfshark / Proton VPN — featured on IP Lookup and network tool pages (privacy/security relevance)
• 1Password / NordPass — featured on Password Generator pages (directly related tool)
• Hostinger / Namecheap / SiteGround — featured on developer tool and speed test pages (hosting relevance)
• Canva — featured on text and design tool pages (creative workflow relevance)
• Lifesum / health apps — featured on health calculator pages (direct health relevance)
• Wise — featured on currency converter pages (financial tool relevance)

This list is updated as programmes are added or removed. We participate in affiliate networks including Impact.com, ShareASale, Commission Junction (CJ), and Awin.

3. Sponsored Content

FindBeam may publish sponsored tool recommendations, sponsored placement on tool pages, or sponsored mentions in content. All sponsored content is:

• Clearly labelled with "Sponsored" or "Paid Partnership" near the content
• Reviewed independently before acceptance — we decline sponsorships from brands we don't believe in
• Never misrepresented as organic editorial recommendations
• Subject to the same editorial standards as non-sponsored content

4. Display Advertising

FindBeam plans to introduce Google AdSense display advertising in the future to help sustain the platform. When advertising is activated:

• Ads will be clearly distinguishable from tool content
• A notice will be displayed near ad units: "Advertisement" or "Sponsored"
• A TCF 2.2-compliant Consent Management Platform (CMP) will be live before any advertising activates
• Personalised ads will only load after you provide explicit consent
• If you decline, contextual (non-personalised) ads may be shown instead
• FindBeam does not control which specific ads are shown — this is managed by Google's advertising systems

Current status: No display advertising is active on FindBeam as of March 2026.

5. Editorial Independence

FindBeam's tool selection, feature development, rankings, and content recommendations are made independently of any financial relationships. Specifically:

• Tool development is driven by user demand and search volume, not advertiser requests
• We do not charge for tool inclusion, higher placement, or better descriptions
• Affiliate partnerships are selected after tool recommendations are made — not before
• We will recommend non-affiliate alternatives when we believe they are better for users
• Negative assessments of products are published regardless of affiliate status

6. AI Tool Usage

FindBeam was built with the assistance of AI development tools (including Claude by Anthropic). We disclose this in full transparency:

• Development: AI tools were used to assist in writing code, drafting content, and planning tool architecture
• Runtime: No AI processes user input data at runtime. All tool processing is done by standard browser JavaScript APIs
• Content: Some written content on FindBeam may have been drafted with AI assistance and reviewed/edited by the founder
• No AI hallucination risk in tools: Our tools perform deterministic operations (minification, hashing, calculation) — there is no generative AI involved in tool outputs

This disclosure is in line with emerging AI transparency requirements and Google's E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) guidelines.

7. How to Identify Affiliate Links & Sponsored Content

We use the following labels to help you identify commercial content:

• Affiliate links: Labelled with "(Affiliate)" text near the link, or included in a card/section titled "Our Recommendation" or "Trusted Partner"
• Sponsored content: Labelled "Sponsored" or "Paid Partnership" prominently near the content
• Display ads: Labelled "Advertisement" in the ad unit or nearby
• All affiliate links include the HTML attribute rel="nofollow sponsored" as required by Google Search guidelines

If you ever find content on FindBeam that appears to be commercially influenced but is not labelled, please report it to [email protected]. We take disclosure violations seriously.
